BRILLA means shine/to shine
The fluidity of genres and language breaks boundaries and blends representing perfectly the approach that So Beast has towards any subject and that they try to share with their music: their project strongly believes in the liquidity of categories, boundaries, and genres, breaking their contours, overflowing in an expansion where everything becomes one, in continuous evolution.

Just like the light that «BRILLA» in a blinding way, where the only borders it accepts are the shadows where it can take refuge when needed: the only boundary that makes sense, the boundary of personal and intimate space.

In this sense, the title of the album also acquires a form of social and therefore human imperative. «BRILLA» loses the egotistic and self-referential meaning of its own light, characteristic of an era and a generation strongly iconographic and extremely tied to appearance, and leaves room for a completely different value: «BRILLA» for So Beast means «accepting, being conscious and realistic, and at the same time nurturing their own optimism and fighting for the best. Fighting politically, ecologically, and emotionally. Giving others the privilege of learning through our presence how to feel better in this world. Sharing the message against discrimination, sexism, racism.»

«BRILLA» is centered around the story of a person who suffers from anxiety and depression and their ability to shine despite everything. It speaks of Nature as an imaginary/virtual and real escape route.
Inspired by the obsession with the realities provided by digital devices, the light of the screen, which influences our lives by overloading our emotional, visual, and psychological capacities but stimulates and inspires through the information and inputs it gives us.
